Success!

Thursday 18 August

WW points eaten 22 (v.v.g.!), wasted points 1, cups of tea 3, cursing fits 3 (gHad 1 yogurt covered pretzels (does’t count; one bite). .), hours spent hungry 6 (steady progress), crunches done (suggested by sister to rid belly fat) 5, trips to the bathroom 24.

7:00 a.m. Grab pack of crackers and glass of milk on the way out the door. No time for proper breakfast because son woke up early and was in “mama only” phase. Tantrums ensued (mostly mine). Total breakfast points: 6

9:52 a.m. – Went to make tea to ward off hunger. Cursed! Garden Tomato and Basil Chips in the breakroom! Had 1 point (literally 5 tiny, wispy chips. Wasted 1 point.)

9:55 a.m. – Got tea and went to condiments. Cursed. Forgot had to use Splenda (0 points) instead of sugar (1-2 points)!

11:25 a.m. – Went to Subway with friend for belated birthday lunch. Had 6 inch Turkey and Ham sandwich with all the veggies I could talk them into giving me (veggies are 0 points!) and water. No chips, sadly. Though I did “spring” for cheese. Not even close to being full. Drink gallon of water to trick self into feeling full. Total lunch points 7.

12:30 p.m. – Drinking water trick didn’t work. Chew gum. Gum success!

2:25 p.m. – Damn. Somebody brought cake.

2:26 p.m. – Cake was figment of imagination. Must be hunger mirage.

3:40 p.m. – Had two crackers (1 point, rounding down)

4:30 p.m. – Picked up son. WalMart trip. Want to buy/rip open/devour everything in sight. Bad to shop when hungry (which is always). Try to stick to list. Only get 2,147 things not on list.

5:25 p.m. – Had 1 yogurt covered pretzel (does’t count; one bite).

5:26 p.m. – Had 1 yogurt covered pretzel (does’t count; one bite).

5:27 p.m. – Had 1/2 yogurt covered pretzel (does’t count; one bite).

6:00 p.m. – Chickfila for supper. Husband working late so not cooking. Must use coupon for buy salad (4 points) get free soup (3 points). Bummed that “cheapest” dressing is still 2 points. Add spinach and mushrooms to salad and use salsa instead of dressing for 0 points. Realize VERY quickly I accidentally got the hottest salsa in the world (Felix) instead of the sweet one (Amish folks made it). Mouth still on fire. Actually FULL for first time since I started. Will save soup for late night snack. Total supper points: 7

7:00 p.m. – Googled Pizookie dessert I ate (and shared last night, thank God) 1087 calories… unimaginable points (somewhere around 22!)
