Saturday 20 August
WW points eaten 6.5 (oh, and a lot more), minutes spent googling Andy’s Frozen Custard WW Points 5, hours spent playing/watering in yard 1.5, happy thoughts about my custard 17.
9:20 a.m.– Thank the Lord I have a son that loves to sleep.
9:40 a.m.– Waffle and strawberries 1.5 points
12:00 p.m.– Sandwich on whole grain round thingy. Cheese, meat, spinach, mushrooms, mustard (3 points). Yogurt that Riley said he wanted but took one bite of (2 points) Total lunch points: 5. (excellent progress!)
3:00 p.m.– Andy’s Chocolate custard Jackhammer with bananas and peanut butter. Points: Who cares.
5:30 p.m.– Outback birthday gift card comes in the mail from friend. YESSSSS. Discuss with husband that my friends are better than his. He agrees.
8:30 p.m.–Wait almost 2 hours, food arrives at Outback. Mahi Mahi with all the trimmings, bread, half of Mediterranean flatbread, half of Margarita. Fish meal promises to be 500 calories. Pat self on back for making excellent food choices today.
Sunday 21 August
8:45 a.m.– Eat two yogurt covered pretzels. Managed in one bite so it doesn’t count, but if I had to make two bites out of it, it would have been 2 points).
10:00 a.m.– FREEZING at church. Make lemon tea. Pour in two real, sweet, delicious packets of sugar. Pretend it was Splenda.
11:00 a.m.– Have coupon for DoubleDave’s pizza. Must use it. Have salad, small slice of calzone, and three small pieces of pizza (two are thin crust). Total lunch points – don’t know. But it was DE-licious. Play Spaced Invaders. Kick ass.
3:00 p.m.– Eat peach. Back on track! Feel Inner Poise returning.
6:00 p.m.– Eat small plate of spaghetti and a salad. Put tons of veggies in the sauce, used whole grain noodles, 93/7 beef. Figure it wasn’t too bad. Total supper points: Who really counts points anyway?
8:30 p.m.– Yogurt cup. 2 points (for those still counting).
9:00 p.m. – Feel guilty. Will try to do better tomorrow. Right after this cheese stick.
