Lessons in doughnuts.

Wednesday 31 August

5:30 a.m.– The hitting of Snooze begins. No way I’ll ever exercise in the mornings.

7:29 a.m.– Made it to work on time. YES!

8:10 a.m.– Co-worker tells me I am looking skinny today, I should get a doughnut. I laugh at his cute way of telling me he brought doughnuts. I curse at him for bringing doughnuts.

8:11 a.m.– Get half of blueberry cake doughnut. Take one glorious bite.

8:12 a.m.– Drop rest of half of doughnut on floor. Co-worker says it must be a sign.

8:13 a.m.– Saw Mythbuster’s on the 5-second rule. Can’t remember results. Pick up doughnut, blow it off, eat it anyway. Told I will get sick now. I’ve had worse…

4:00 p.m.– Drive halfway to plasma with hazard lights on. Oops. Thought I heard a weird clicking…

4:45 p.m.– Feel little light-headed after giving plasma. Not enough protein. Must remember to get protein bars instead of fiber bars.

7:45 p.m.– Laid on inversion table for 3-4 minutes. Do yoga in floor. Don’t want to run after plasma. Learned lesson Monday.

8:00 p.m.– Start watching Brooklyn’s Finest with hubby. Ethan Hawke just shot somebody. Doesn’t appear to be romantic comedy…
